Not exactly a jigsaw puzzle... Definitely not sudoku...

OK, here's the objective: You must complete the entire mosaic of tiles, each tile in a color (red, green, blue, yellow or purple) and containing one of the four icons, to exactly match the solution arrangement. That's it.

Conditions you must be wary of:

--For any given tile, none of the 8 tiles adjacent to it will be of like color.

("?" color must be Purple)

--Tiles containing the same icon will never appear in rows of 3 or more )horizontally, vertically or diagonally) or in a cube of four.

                                            

--There are a total of 6 of each color/icon combination making up the whole of the puzzle.

Now about the puzzle pieces...

Each piece represents a square of 9 tiles. The composition for each will be: 4 tiles revealing both the colors and the icons; 1 revealing only the color; 1 revealing only the icon; and 3 revealing neither.

Unlike jigsaw puzzle pieces, where a portion of the picture are exclusive to each piece, there will be "overlapping" of elements (tiles) among MosaMix pieces. Such that, for instance, of the two pieces

the  , and shown in the first piece and the  ,  and  in the second piece may represent the same tiles within the puzzle.

There are 100 total pieces obtainable for a player's use. The challenge is to figure the relationships of each piece to all others. This is done by searching for similarities between pieces with regard to a tile's color/icon makeup, poitioning, and that of neighboring tiles which may indicate the two compared pieces contain items representing the same tiles. The more pieces you find, the more similarities and relationships can be pieced together. Through this process, and aided by logic and the guidance of the aforementioned restrictions, you should be able to reconstruct the completed puzzle grid.

The pieces have been "pre-shuffled" and each assigned a "piece number" counted from 1 to 90 (91-100 are given below.) "But where will I find all the other puzzle pieces?" you ask.If you pay attenttion and do a little investigating, you'll know where (and how) to find them. Here are a few to get  you started...

Once you think you have enough information to successfully construct the solution, simply build it on the grid and send a Snapshot, JPEG, Excel, Word, photo or any other version of it via EMAIL to the Riddlemaster or Facebook Messenger .
